Spartak at a glance
The confectionery factory «Spartak» is the greatest manufacturer of sweets in Belarus. The history of the factory dates back to the year 1924, when the confectionery-producing plant «Prosvet» was inaugurated in Gomel. The today’s name was given to the enterprise on November 8th, 1931.
Owner and management
In 1994 the state enterprise was reorganized into a joint-stock company, and 4 years later, in 1998, an American-Belarusian joint venture was founded. The shareholders of the company are as follows:

Activities of the company
The company’s core competence is manufacturing and distribution of confectionery goods. Our product range comprises: chocolate and chocolate bars, candies, boxes and sets of chocolate candies, caramel, waffles and wafer bars, cookies and cakes.
The main production facilities have high level of technical development. The chocolate, cookies, caramel and waffle production lines are almost completely automated. The strategy of factory’s development provides significant modification of assortment and constant improvement of quality of the products for account of sets of central laboratories where the state-of-the-art technologies are introduced. Confectionary factory “Spartak” is supplied with equipment for constant monitoring of product quality and corresponding tests.
Quality management
Quality requirements are based on strict technical conditions and GOSTs (State Standards). 99.9 % of factory’s production output is certified in accordance with international standards:
- ISO 9001 (Quality management system)
- ISO 14001 (Environment management system)
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
About 100 items of the assortment passed tests on safety indicators in the USA and received positive results. This fact enables us to draw a conclusion about high competitiveness and quality of our products abroad over the previous years.
